At Jeffrey’s Shih Tzu Haven, we take great care in matching each Shih Tzu puppy with the right home based on your family, lifestyle, and personal preferences. From birth, we are closely involved with every puppy, allowing us to understand their temperament, personality, and unique characteristics.
We believe choosing a Shih Tzu is about more than simply selecting a puppy—it’s about finding the perfect companion to complement your home and way of life. With their affectionate nature, gentle temperament, and strong bond with their owners, Shih Tzus make exceptional companions. Our goal is to guide you through the process and help you welcome the ideal puppy into your home with confidence and peace of mind.
Our matching process ensures that we can select the best puppy for your family. Here’s how it works:
Complete our Puppy Info Request form online with as much detail as possible, including a little bit about you and your family, your leisure activities, and which of puppies you would be interested in.
We’ll email you information on either and ensure the puppy would be a good fit for your home and lifestyle.
We will proceed with the necessary paperwork required for you to get your desired puppy home
To reserve your Shih Tzu puppy, we require a 20% non-refundable, transferable deposit for started puppies and a 50% deposit for trained puppies. The remaining balance is due at the time of pick-up.

- Health-tested parents: We pair Championed dogs that have all OFA certifications. Our puppies are guaranteed for up to three years against genetic defects.
- Early neurological stimulation: We employ an early neurological stimulation (ENS) process that involves five simple, harmless exercises every day. Stimulating a puppy’s neurological system in a controlled way helps support and develop the immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance.
- Early socialization: The Rule of 7, developed by Dr. Carmen Battaglia, helps increase a puppy’s exposure to new surfaces, environments, objects, locations, and people. Every new experience helps our puppies grow into confident, well-socialized companions.
- Crate training: We believe crate training is the easiest, most natural house-training method. We crate train all of our puppies and ensure the crate is a safe, warm, and cozy haven.
